Hartford Hawks Athletics – Track & Field will compete at the UMass Invitational

AMHERST, Mass. – The Hartford men’s and women’s track and field teams will continue their 2022 outdoor season this weekend at the UMass Invitational. The Hawks will face Assumption, Holy Cross and Merrimack at the UMass Track & Field Complex. The Invitational begins with the Field Events at 11:00 a.m., followed closely by the Running Events at 12:00 p.m

  • newcomers Conor Convery and Joseph Stephenson return to the field after simultaneously breaking the previous school record in the hammer throw
  • Convery shot a distance of 43.46 m while Stephenson’s mark was 43.23 m

The Hawks return to action next weekend, Saturday, April 9, to compete in the Wilton Wright Invitational hosted by Southern Connecticut State University.
