Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC) announced today that it has signed a collaboration agreement with OMNIA Partners, one of the country’s largest public and private procurement organizations, to expand access to point-of-care diagnostic testing. personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical products and consumables in academic and public health facilities. Products and supplies will be available through the Henry Schein Medical University health store.

In connection with the Agreement, Henry Schein Medical has entered into a master agreement with the University of California (“Master Agreement”) for the distribution of medical supplies to the University of California and all eligible public entities registered with OMNIA Partners. The framework agreement will better serve Henry Schein Medical customers in the fields of university health, K-12 education, local and state health care, and first aid by providing more savings, assistance, and easier access to COVID-19 testing offers and services.

Through the framework agreement, Henry Schein Medical will also offer the following types of consumables to meet the needs of student health centers, physical therapy, occupational therapy, sports medicine, sports training, laboratory and pharmacy: medicine, laboratory, equipment and treatment room, pharmaceutical, vaccine, flu , Education and training and simulation products.
