Invoice2Go Review – Forbes Advisor – Forbes Advisor

Software engineers designed Invoice2go as a way for small business owners who did not need a full accounting package to send invoices fast. It was first created as a mobile-only app. While the company has expanded to add a desktop version, the mobile app is one of the company’s biggest advantages for business owners on the go—hence the name.

Its website states that 225,000 small businesses in over 160 countries have used Invoice2go. The invoicing tool works best for microbusinesses, sole proprietors and freelancers who have a low volume of monthly invoices and are just looking for an easy-to-use invoicing service.

Invoicing: Users can choose from a selection of pre-made invoice templates or customize their own invoice by simply dragging and dropping their company logo, choosing brand colors and switching fonts. Expense items, photos, comments and payment details can all be added to the invoice. In addition to email, users can send invoices through Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and SMS.

Instant Estimates: One of Invoice2go’s more unique features is the ability to create estimates for a potential job. Prospective clients can approve or comment on estimates online. Business owners can also request down payments or deposits for any pending project.

Time Tracking: Invoice2go has a time tracker built into the app, making it easy to record billable hours and export them right to the invoice.

Accept Payments: Each invoice includes a “Pay Now” button giving clients the option to pay immediately. Clients have the option to pay online using PayPal, credit cards or debit cards. Business owners know exactly when clients pay the invoice, freeing up confusion. Automatic payment reminders can also be programmed to eliminate chasing unpaid invoices.

Reports: Invoice2go provides various reports such as tax year sales, annual sales per client and sales reports that outline insights into a business’s success.

Client Portal: Clients are able to log in to their own portal where they can view and pay invoices. Business owners can also use the portal to store pertinent client information.

Client Management: Business owners can add, edit and track clients and leads directly from their dashboard. They can also automate client and lead communications.

Instant Website: Business owners can set up their own website using Invoice2go’s Instant Website feature. Users can choose from simple templates with preloaded sections, such as an About page, photo gallery, submission contact form, customer reviews and more, or create a more customized, detailed website.
