Men’s rowing set opens the season at Navy Day Regatta

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel University men’s rowing team begins their 2022-23 season on Sunday, October 16 when they compete in the annual Navy Day Regatta on the Schuylkill River.

LAST TIME-OUT
Drexel’s final action came at the 2022 IRA Nationals, where the Dragons had their all-time best performance in varsity 8+ and had the program’s best performance in 2V8+.

NAVY DAY REGATTA
DU walked away with two wins at the 2021 Navy Day Regatta, with the V4+ and the Novice claiming 8+ wins. The Varsity 8+ finished 13th out of 31. Drexel has a win in the V8+ at the race and finished first out of 32 boats in 2016.

NEXT
The Dragons travel to Boston to compete in the Head of the Charles Regatta on October 22nd and 23rd.
