No. 14 BU to host No. 12 Wisconsin Saturday, face No. 5 Dartmouth and No. 6 Syracuse in Vermont Sunday

BOSTON- Boston University’s No. 14 men’s rowing team will compete with three boats against three ranking programs over the weekend.

The Terriers will initially host No. 12 Wisconsin at the Charles River on Saturday morning, with the Varsity Eight’s Jablonic Cup race opening the competition at 8am. They then head to Lake Morey in Fairlee, Vermont for races #5 Dartmouth and #6 Syracuse Sunday morning with the eight third varsity boats starting at 9:20 am

BU’s top two boats last raced in California’s Pac-12 Challenge on April 9-10, racking up victories over then-No. 18 Oregon while just ahead of No. 2 Washington and No. 3 Cal. The Terriers’ third varsity eight boat defeated the current No. 7 Brown’s fourth varsity eight boat on the Charles River two weeks ago.

The Terriers will face the Badgers for the Jablonic Cup for the first time since their 2018 win in Wisconsin. They defeated the Orange for the 2019 Conlan Cup in New Jersey and regained the 2019 Dartmouth Bill Cup at the Charles River.
