Saturday morning women’s row at Boston College in eastern Michigan

BOSTON- The Boston University women’s rowing team will continue with the spring schedule by getting both Boston College and Eastern Michigan out of the DeWolfe Boathouse on the Charles River on Saturday morning, with ESPN+ broadcasting beginning at 7:50 a.m

The Terriers opened last weekend by beating Patriot League member MIT in all three races. BC faced both North Carolina and Bucknell and won the V4 and 3V8 against the Tar Heels before winning the 2V8, V4 and 2V4 against the Bison. The EMU most recently defeated Duquesne in the first two Varsity Eight races.

After beating the Engineers by five seconds, BU’s varsity eight boat against BC and EMU, both known as the Eagles, will start at 8:00 a.m., followed by the second varsity eight at 8:15 a.m. The Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four boats finish at 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., respectively.

Last season, BU raced BC on two separate weekends, winning both the V8 and 2V8 each time, with the Eagles victorious in the V4. They split up in the 2V4.
