Temple Rowing announces schedule for 2022

PHILADELPHIA — After a successful fall season, Temple Rowing Head Coach Rebecca Grzybowski announced the team‘s spring plan for a much-anticipated return to the water. The Owls will face off against top-tier contenders as the championship season begins in March.

Temple kicks off the season on Saturday, March 12 with a scrimmage against Rutgers in New Brunswick, NJ

Medal season begins in March with the Owls competing in the Doc Hosea Regatta on Sunday 27th March. The Owls will follow that race on Saturday, April 2nd, Temple’s trademark annual Murphy Cup regatta.

The Owls will compete in the Kerr Cup hosted by Drexel on Saturday April 16th. Just about a week later, Team plus 2V4+ NCAA boats will compete at the Lake Wheeler Invite in Raleigh, NC on April 22-23.

The Owls will make the trip to Worcester, Massachusetts to compete in the women’s sprints on Sunday, May 1st.

Cherry and White concludes their season on the Schuylkill River with the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on Friday 14th and 15th May.

The American Athletic Conference Championship follows on Sunday, May 15 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee before the season concludes with the NCAA Championships May 27-28 in Sarasota, Florida.
