GoTerriers.com returns for a 13th year, again counting the 12 best performances from Boston University teams and student athletes from last year. Check back every Tuesday and Friday when we reveal this year’s Terrier Twelve.

9th place in this year’s Terrier 12 is the historic season of the women’s basketball team.

The Terriers achieved their best record in 12 games 10-2 during the regular season and won the Patriot League North Division.

For the second season in a row, BU won number 2 in the Patriot League Tournament, where all three postseason games were played at Case Gym, and crowned the season with his first appearance at the Patriot League Tournament Championship, which was broadcast live on national television.

Three terriers have been named to the All-Patriot League team, highlighted by Katie Nelsons First team nods to end their career after scoring top marks for the team on points, assists and minutes.

Sydney Johnson led the squad at Steals and followed Nelson in scoring Maren Durant led the Patriot League in the field goal percentage, took second place in blocks and also took third place in the team in scoring.

As a team, BU led the league in terms of field goal percentage, goal defense, rebounding defense, rebounding margin and steals.
