The deadline for the first drawing of the “Shot At A Million” lottery is approaching.

The application deadline for the drawing on July 14th is Friday, July 9th, 2021, 11:59 p.m. CDT.

Drawing list:

  • Participation until July 9, 2021 until 11:59 p.m. CDT for the July 14th 14th drawing
  • Participation until July 16, 2021 until 11:59 p.m. CDT for the drawing on July 21, 21
  • Participation until July 23, 2021 until 11:59 p.m. CDT for the July 28th drawing
  • Enter until July 30, 2021 until 11:59 p.m. CDT for the August 4th drawing
  • Enter the grand prize drawing on August 4th until 11:59 p.m. CDT by July 31, 2021

The winners will be announced two days after the drawing so that vaccination status can be confirmed.

Governor John Bel Edwards announced the start of the campaign on Thursday 17th who took or opted for a Covid-19 vaccine.

Louisianans who received the vaccine can register online at ShotAtAMillion.com. Residents who do not have internet access or have questions can register from Monday on the toll-free hotline 877-356-1511.

Residents who have taken at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and are 18 years or older can win one of four prizes of $ 100,000 and the grand prize of $ 1 million. Louisians who have taken at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and are between 12 and 17 years old can sign up to win one of nine scholarships worth $ 100,000. Louisianans are eligible if they have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine prior to the draw date – regardless of when they were vaccinated.

There will be four weekly drawings for a $ 100,000 scholarship and $ 100,000 cash prize.

There will be a final grand prize drawing on August 4, awarding $ 1 million in cash and five grants of $ 100,000.

The total awards total $ 2.3 million, which will be paid in US dollars for COVID outreach campaigns.

The Louisiana Lottery Corporation is helping the Louisiana Department of Health structure the rewards program and conduct the randomized drawings in the presence of LDH and the Legislative Chartered Accountant. LDH will not provide any person’s vaccination status or health information to Louisiana Lottery Corporation and will confirm the winner’s vaccination status after the person’s information has been anonymized.
