Women’s Rowing Announces Spring Schedule

CORVALLIS, Ore .– The Oregon State Women’s Rowing Team has announced its schedule for the coming spring.

The list includes three races at Dexter Lake, including the Pac-12 Championships on May 15. The Beavers start the season with their annual CRASH Beavs Indoor Erg competition on February 26th at Truax in Corvallis.

On March 20, Oregon state welcomes Washington state before hosting the Dexter Lake Invite on April 23 – Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Portland and San Diego are among the participants.

Orange & Black opens April in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 9-10 for the Pac-12 Invite, followed by a six-team lap race in Iowa City on April 30th.

The Beavers are aiming to receive their first application for the NCAA championships since 2009. The three-day event will take place May 27-29 in Sarasota, Florida.

Autumn review 2021

– The Beavers took part in an autumn regatta at the Head of Spokane, hosted by Gonzaga on October 23 for the first time since 2019.

– The Varsity 8 + s boat consisting of Zoe Adamson, Maeve Donnelly, Amelia Sabin, Sierra Bishop, Muryn Greene, Gretchen Thompson, Hannah Robinson, Jane Smeins, and controlled by Nicki Schultz took first place with a 16:28 time and won the varsity eight race of the first flight. Two other Beaver boats finished sixth (17:21) and 10th (20:33) at the Head of Spokane.

– Oregon State drove three Varsity 4 + s that rolled in for fourth place at 7:40 PM, followed by 7:56 PM (sixth) and 8:52 PM (eighth).

– Donnelly and Adamson led OSU’s A-Pair to second place when the Beaver duo cruised at 8:26 PM. Bishop and Greene finished fourth after a race at 8:30 p.m. Three other 2-s Beaver boats started and finished sixth, eighth and eleven that day.
